The road to love is long and hard,
And filled with cold and darker days.
A lifetime only knows the pain,
And no one knows just when it ends.

A search to last until the day,
A chance may come, then fly away.
The heart is tired, weary, and aches.
Another hope finds only break.

We’ll keep on searching, and no one knows.
Through all of the years, till the end of time,
We all will wait for love.

With each wound grows a bitter mend,
That scars the heart until the end.
It’s said that time will ease the pain,
But time has gone and come again.
